data release (1)
Dear friend of HRMI,

For the seventh year in a row, we have measured how well governments treat people, and are delighted to release our new Rights Tracker update, with scores for 203 countries and territories.

You can explore the data at RightsTracker.org, a certified Digital Public Good where we visualise human rights scores across countries, rights, and demographics. Please let us know what you think!

Over the coming weeks, we will also hold various events and webinars focusing on specific regions and themes, and publish press releases and articles drawing on the new data. Please follow us on LinkedIn, X/Twitter, or Facebook for the latest news.

We extend our deep gratitude to the thousands of people who make this work possible, from the human rights defenders who share their local knowledge with us annually, to the individuals and organisations who generously fund our work, and the HRMI team members who have been working hard for many months to bring you the new data.

Please do let us know how you are using the data in your work, and any thoughts on how we can adjust or expand our work to serve you.

What gets measured gets improved. We offer you these data to strengthen your work to improve people's lives.

Yours in service,
Melissa del Aguila and Thalia Kehoe Rowden, on behalf of the HRMI team
